Kamoto Copper Company Société Anonyme, KCC SA in acronym, is a Congolese company operating in Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Job description.

 

 

Under the direct supervision of the Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand Manager , the Superintendent is responsible for defining, steering and executing the talent acquisition strategy to effectively support the company's operational and growth objectives.
He/she acts as a strategic business partner, ensuring the availability of qualified talent, optimizing recruitment performance and strengthening the attractiveness of KCC's employer brand.

 


He/she will have, among other things, the following responsibilities (non-exhaustive):

 


•    Manage and oversee the entire recruitment cycle (end-to-end), from needs assessment to onboarding.
•    To ensure efficient, structured processes that comply with internal standards

•    Sourcing activities , including headhunting for critical profiles
•    Ensure an optimal candidate experience that is consistent with company standards.

•    Actively contribute to manpower planning in collaboration with the operational and HR departments
•    Develop and deploy talent acquisition strategies aligned with business priorities
•    Establish and manage talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles.

•    Analyze employment market trends and adapt sourcing strategies
•    Define, track and analyze recruitment performance indicators (KPIs): Time-to- hire , Cost-per- hire , Quality of hire , Source effectiveness , etc.

•    Produce analytical reports and formulate recommendations for improvement
•    Managing a data-driven continuous improvement approach
•    Acting as an advisor to managers in defining needs and profiles

•    Challenging recruitment requests and guiding decisions
•    Ensure compliance with internal policies and labor legislation in the DRC
•    Developing strategies to attract talent internationally and within the diaspora

•    Deploy employer branding initiatives aligned with the HR strategy
•    Representing the company at events (job fairs , universities, professional forums)
•    Strengthen KCC's visibility on digital and professional channels

•    Collaborating with communications teams to promote the employer brand
•    To supervise, coach and develop the recruitment team
•    Plan and allocate resources according to priorities

•    Establishing a culture of performance, excellence and collaboration
•    Leading structuring projects (digitalization, ATS, innovation sourcing , etc.)

 

 

Job requirements.


Qualifications and experience.


•    Hold a university degree in human resource management, psychology, social sciences, law or business administration or a related field.

•   Minimum 7 years of experience in recruitment/talent acquisition, ideally in industrial, mining or labor-intensive (mass hiring ) environments, is highly desirable.
•    Have a solid understanding of the labor legislation in force in the DRC.
•    Experience with ATS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors ), digital sourcing and innovative solutions (AI, Sourcing Automation, etc.).

•    Fluency in French and English is required.

 

 

Technical skills.


•    Proficiency in advanced recruitment data analysis ( funnels , conversion rates, predictive insights)
•    Proficiency in recruitment tools (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter , job boards , etc.)

•    Good command of MS Office (advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills strongly recommended )
•    Knowledge of structured interview techniques and skills assessment
•    Solid understanding of employer branding and HR marketing practices

•    Proven experience in managing high-volume recruitment

•    Ability to operate effectively in a highly demanding operational environment
•    Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage demanding stakeholders and influence decisions
