Kamoto Copper Company Société Anonyme, KCC SA in acronym, is a Congolese company operating in Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Job description
Under the supervision of the Manager Supply Chain Materials , the incumbent will be responsible for accurately planning and organizing inventory management, creating and validating purchase requisitions, analyzing discrepancies and implementing corrective actions, while considering the impact of decisions on operations. They will also be responsible for coordinating the supply of materials to meet demand, communicating with the purchasing team regarding business needs, and continuously improving related operational processes.
He/She will have, among other things, the following responsibilities (non-exhaustive):
1. Improvements and processes
• Propose changes to inventory management to respond to an increase or decrease in demand.
• Propose continuous improvements to daily processes and tactical projects, including conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective measures to address issues encountered across all supply chain processes.
• Develop, optimize and integrate detailed operational schedules (supply plans, replenishment models) in a " lean " environment, in order to achieve company objectives.
2. Replenishment and Inventory Management
• Anticipate stock requirements based on current and future activities.
• Track critical supplier orders.
• Anticipate the risks of disruption or delay.
• Propose alternative solutions (Multi- sourcing , Adjusting priorities).
• Optimize stock levels by balancing customer service objectives and inventory cost reduction.
• Regularly analyze stock discrepancies, obsolescence and overstocking in order to propose effective corrective actions.
• Implement stock policies (min/max, safety stock, lot sizing ) adapted to operational constraints and company objectives.
3. Compliance
• Evaluate the company's inventory storage capacity.
• Track inventory across multiple storage sites.
• Ensure the integrity and reliability of MRP data (BOM, stocks, lead times).
• Ensure traceability of changes in ERP systems.
• Apply data governance standards .
4. Reporting and Analysis
• Develop and distribute regular MRP performance reports including stock levels, service rate, stockouts and surpluses.
• Analyze data from ERP systems to provide strategic recommendations.
• Implement dynamic dashboards to enable real-time monitoring of planning and procurement activities.
• Ensure the reliability and consistency of reported data by carrying out regular checks and correcting any identified anomalies.
• Analyze the discrepancies between forecasts, planning, and execution.
• Identify the root causes of malfunctions and propose corrective actions.
• Produce regular reports for management.
• Formulate strategic recommendations based on data analysis.
5. Team management
• To supervise, lead and coordinate a team of planners and/or procurement specialists.
• Define clear objectives and monitor individual and collective performance.
• Organize priorities and distribute tasks according to operational needs.
• To support skills development and ensure the team's increasing expertise.
• Managing tense situations and making quick decisions in constrained environments.
Job requirements
Qualifications and experience
• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or in an equivalent technical field.
• Have 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience (including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role) in Inventory Management, Planning or Warehouse Management, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment.
Technical skills.
• Practical knowledge of supply chain technologies (ERP, production systems, warehouse management systems).
• Good understanding of cataloging, MRP parameters, and inventory control practices.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is an asset.
• Skills in report writing and presentation.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
