Kamoto Copper Company Société Anonyme, KCC SA in acronym, is a Congolese company operating in Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Job description.

 

Under the direct supervision of the flotation manager, the job holder's main mission will be to ensure the efficient operation of concentrate production equipment while respecting safety, quality and quantity guidelines, to guarantee their proper functioning through regular and rigorous monitoring of concentrate production parameters, to report any anomalies observed and to maintain a working environment conducive to optimal productivity.

 

His responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

•    Prepare the equipment and materials required for the flotation process. This includes loading the reagents, adjusting the machine parameters, and checking the condition of the equipment;
•    Understanding flotation processes. This includes checking performance indicators, taking samples, and implementing corrective measures if necessary;
•    Understanding flotation processes. This includes adjusting reactant concentration, temperature, and pressure;
•    Controlling product quality. This includes taking samples and analyzing the results;
•    Maintain and clean the equipment. This includes lubricating moving parts, replacing worn parts, and cleaning surfaces.
•    Complete production documents. This includes entering production data and maintaining records.
•    Apply occupational health and safety rules. This includes wearing personal protective equipment and following safety procedures;
•    Collaborating with other team members. This includes communicating information and coordinating activities;
•    Participate in training and professional development activities. This includes attending training courses and seminars.
•    Solving technical problems. This includes analyzing the causes of breakdowns and implementing solutions;
•    Perform all other tasks assigned by management according to their skills.
 
Job requirements.


Qualifications and experience.

 

•    Possess a state diploma or equivalent or a professional certificate in mining or metallurgy;
•    Possess approximately one year of experience in the field of concentrators or in a chemical or metallurgical laboratory;
•    To be able to express oneself clearly and correctly in French;
•    Understand the technology and use the equipment under your responsibility;

 


Technical skills.

 

•    Knowledge of the concentrator;
•    Focused on security;
•    Knowledge of concentration equipment;
•    Knowledge of flotation and wet grinding operations
•    Knowledge of the installation parameters (concentrator).
