In this role, you will:

  • Participate in the health and safety programs of EVR to ensure that everyone on site goes home safe and healthy every day
  • Support development and maintenance of ERM Framework documentation and implementation materials (drafting, formatting, version control, consolidation of input)
  • Assist with documenting standardized governance processes and system requirements for Risk Treatment Actions
  • Support evaluation and implementation of an ERM system/software including data preparation, cleansing, mapping, and initial uploads
  • Assist with system testing and validation to confirm accuracy, completeness, and alignment with defined business rules  
  • Support preparation of ERM system outputs for inclusion in the ERM Annual Report
  • Cleanse, standardize, and validate enterprise risk data sourced from multiple documents and systems
  • Support development of data standards, naming conventions, and data quality checks for risks, controls, and treatments
  • Perform reconciliations between source data and system records and assist with issue tracking during data conversion and testing   
  • Support reassessment of priority enterprise risks by populating templates, consolidating inputs, and preparing analysis and review materials
  • Provide support for training programs including development and maintenance of role‑specific ERM materials and records 
  • Support compilation and coordination of insurance information
  • Provide general program support including meeting preparation, action tracking, documentation, and ad‑hoc analysis

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration, Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Actuarial Science or Economics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel – with a focus on data cleansing, formulas, pivot tables) and Power Query would be an asset          
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify data issues and inconsistences
  • Comfort working with legacy enterprise data requiring cleansing, validation, and standardization
  • Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and collaborate across teams Interest in enterprise risk management, governance, and systems implementation
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels

Salary: $4,117 - $5,192 CAD/month 

Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
