Kamoto Copper Company Société Anonyme, KCC SA in acronym, is a Congolese company operating in Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

KCC SA exploits copper and cobalt ores on a large scale. It includes an underground mine, open-pit mines and integrated metallurgical facilities. The operation has one of the largest copper reserves in the world, with a current life of over 25 years.

Background and Objective:

As part of the strengthening of its mining and industrial operations in Kolwezi, Kamoto Copper Company SA is launching a Call for Expressions of Interest (CEI) aimed at building a pool of local skills.

The aim of this pool is to support operational excellence, strengthen industrial availability, support internal mobility and planned movements, develop and enhance local talent, and professionalise critical technical professions.

This CEI, independent of a specific position, makes it possible to identify profiles capable of meeting the current and future operational needs of our mining and industrial units, in compliance with the international practices and standards applied at KCC. This CEI will also make it possible to build a recruitment pool that can be consulted in the event of similar needs over the next three years, without this constituting a commitment to hire.

Job Requirements

Technical qualifications, experience and skills

Hold a State Diploma or a Professional Aptitude Certificate corresponding to the field or specialization required
Proven experience in the targeted position, ideally in a mining or industrial environment,
Mastery of industrial safety standards,
Use, adjustment and maintenance of tools or technical equipment,
Ability to interpret technical documents, diagrams or instructions,
Strict compliance with production instructions and standards.
