HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Under the Head of Operational Technologies and Automation, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe, unique, and motivating environment. Your primary duties will be:
- Manage the development, maintenance, and programming of automated management systems to optimize mining, concentrator, and power plant production operations.
- Manage the processes to be followed by the various parties involved in the automation and control of systems, and the programming of operator interfaces.
- Develop system architecture and interconnection with other company information and network communication systems, including IP, geolocation, telemetry, and LTE.
- Participate in the programming of PLCs, distributed control systems (DCS) and operator interfaces.
- Ensure the development and updating of system programming standards and functions.
- Provide technical assistance of new installations and commissioning (VPO).
- Manage the life cycle of automated mine management system equipment, control system servers and user interfaces for energy production, concentrator, and mines, as well as the communication network for instruments and process equipment.
- Write reports, specifications, functional descriptions, and tender quotations.
- Support implementation and improvement projects while ensuring compliance with programming standards.
- Participate in the preparation of detailed engineering drawings and deliverables.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Automated Production Engineering, in Electrical engineering - specializing in Automation and Controls, or any other field deemed equivalent.
- Experience in programming control systems (SCADA, PLC).
- Experience in designing automated systems.
- Experience with (DCS (specifically 800xA from ABB) and industrial networks is an asset.
