A Raisebore/Diamond Drill Fitter vacancy currently exists in the Mobile Asset Maintenance department, working at the George Fisher mine. This is a residential position in Mount Isa and requires you to work a roster of 4 on a 7/7 days nights roster

A Raisebore/Diamond Drill Fitter vacancy currently exists in the Mobile Asset Maintenance department, working at the George Fisher mine. This is a residential position in Mount Isa and requires you to work a roster of 4 on a 7/7 days nights roster
The key accountabilities of the role are to:
- Perform a range of duties associated with Diamond Drill and Raiseboring machine maintenance and repairs
- Perform Risk Assessments / SLAM during course of duties
- Be accountable for your own personal safety and for others
- Participate in shift change-over and pass on relevant information
- Effectively manage own time to maximise productivity and minimise wastage
- Ensure personal behavior reflects company values - targeting a constructive culture
- Ensure full participation in target setting program
- 2 years underground experience
- Ability to work unsupervised and within a team
- Previous experience on Diamond Drill and Raiseboring machine is desirable but not essential
- Trade qualifications in Diesel Fitting, Auto Electrical or Mechanical Fitting are desirable
- Ability to read and interpret Hydraulic Schematics and fault find circuits
- Ability to self-motivate and to be able to lead a team if required
- Capability to read, understand and follow current MST’s / Maintenance Schedules
