The Role
We have a permanent, internal position available within our Maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this exciting opportunity will see you provide technical direction and oversight for electrical assets and maintenance activities. You will lead a team to build a safe and empowering work environment, focusing on continuous improvements which adhere to compliance, regulatory, statutory, and legislative requirements. Prior experience in similar role – Fixed Plant maintenance, Mobile Fleet, etc would be an advantage.  

Your responsibilities would include among other things:

  • Accountability for the electrical infrastructure, regulatory compliance, process control and functional safety for CRL and Port.
  • Serve as the regulatory position of primary Electrical Person in Charge (EPIC) for CRL and Port.
  • Monitor preventative maintenance program effectiveness and develop a skills training program.
  • Direct reports include a Process Control Advisor and an Electrical Supervisor who manages dayshift tradespeople, apprentices and contractors.
  • Indirect reports include all electricians onsite for accountability of work quality and compliance.

  • Experience with SAP or similar CMMS
