The Role
Reporting to the HV Supervisor, your primary responsibility involves the maintenance and construction of overhead lines and all testing involved, the routine maintenance of street lighting. This residential position will be offered working a 7 on 7 off day shift only roster

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • 415 volt to 132 kV overhead line construction and maintenance.
  • Installation and maintenance of the site street light system.
  • Control of spare parts to maintain OHL Systems.
  • Statutory records of installations.
The successful candidate will possess:
  • Electrical Lines Person trade qualification with the ability to obtain a Queensland Electrical license.
  • HR Manual drivers licence and vehicle loading crane ticket.
  • Sound understanding of workplace OH&S.
  • Lift/Borer ticket
  • EWP Ticket
  • Bucket truck ticket 
The following skills will be highly regarded:
  • Previous experience working with Power Distribution Systems including;
  • Experience with LV 240/415 volt up to 132 KV overhead line construction and maintenance.
  • SAP Experience.
  • Knowledge of related Australian, industry and site standards
  • Statutory recording 
You will also have a flexible attitude and sound work ethic, have excellent time management skills and the ability to achieve results within the specified time frames. A strong customer focus is required, as well as a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team environment or with minimal supervision.
