Mount Isa Mines are currently seeking a Garden & Grounds Serviceman to join the HV & Refrigeration team.

The Role: 
As a Garden & Grounds Serviceperson, you will work as a member of the grounds crew, which is responsible of maintaining and improving the Mount Isa Mines lease's properties. This role will be offered a 5/2 Mon- Friday roster, where you will work a 48 hour week.

The day to day duties may vary however the proficient candidate will be responsible

  • maintaining the grounds outside spaces, such as parking lots, gardens, walkways, and greenbelts.
  • Working on landscaping projects, such as retaining walls, fences, and sprinkler systems.


The capable candidate will possess the following abilities and qualities

  • Fit for work’ and able to meet the physical demands of a labour-intensive role
  • Enjoy working outdoors 
  • Horticultural and turf experience will be viewed favourably
  • Flexible attitude, sound work ethic and the ability to work within a team
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Manual drivers licence
  • Forklift / Chainsaw ticket highly regarded
