The Opportunity

We are currently seeking two First Aid Security Attendants to join our Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

The position will be based in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

This is a full-time, temporary, unionized position. 

Rate of Pay: $43.62 per hour plus applicable bonuses.

This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.

Work location is not accessible by public transportation.

Duties and Accountabilities

This position is administers first aid treatment to injured and/or ill employees and contractors, prepares to transport injured and/or ill employees to medical facilities, and ensures security and protection of Company property at all times.

Education and Skills

 

  • Province of Ontario Certification - Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant (A-EMCA) / Paramedic Certificate
  • Class "F" Drivers License
  • Restricted Radio Operators License
  • Province of Ontario Private Security License - renewed biennially 

A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a first aid and / or security environment.
